    Excella is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist to support Excella’s Corporate Human Resources team. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of Human Resources experience. This Generalist position will assist in the efficient, operational functioning of the firm’s processes and support the Human Resources team. The role provides coordination of various projects, management of the employee lifecycle, as well as providing administrative support.


    Provide support in a wide range of activities, such as:


    • Onboarding process management and coordination of processes necessary to onboard and exit an employee, as applicable.
    • Presenting at orientation
    • Collaborating with Recruiting and other internal departments
    • Research and support policy development and maintenance
    • Maintain employment records and coordinate internal audits
    • Provide employment verifications for current and past employees
    • Assist with coordination and administration of Employee Resource Groups and events.
    • Assist with the development and analysis of employee participation and compliance with lifecycle activities including:
      • Performance Appraisals
      • New Hire Surveys
      • Employee Engagement and Enablement metrics
      • Additional HR initiatives
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of Federal and State law compliance
    • Perform other HR duties as assigned


    The Human Resource Generalist is considered essential and qualifications must reflect (at a minimum):


    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 1-2 years of experience in either HR or consulting experience (with some HR experience) desired
    • High degree of integrity and respect for confidential information
    • Detail oriented with the ability to effectively manage a large work load in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Knowledge of Ultimate Software (UltiPro) or other HRIS system preferred
