  • Overview

    As a member of the People Services organization, the Employee Engagement and Change Management Lead is responsible for leading strategy, management, and execution of employee engagement and change management efforts that align to Excella’s mission, vision and values. This position provides the opportunity to both set strategy and direction for employee engagement as well as directly support the implementation of these strategies by working with internal stakeholders. The Lead will establish initiatives that reinforce a strong organizational culture and support a highly engaged workforce with the goal of improving awareness and adoption of firmwide strategies, priorities and business goals. The Lead will work closely with departments across the organization, such as the Executive Team, People Services, Internal Teams, Consulting Operations, and Innovation to ensure effective support of and alignment to Excella’s strategic priorities and business goals.

     

    The Lead will be responsible for bringing thought leadership to improving employee awareness and adoption of firm strategies and changes, increasing engagement among employees, and ensuring tight alignment and integration between headquarters and the employees off-site. The Lead will provide deep expertise in change management strategies and practices to support implementation of organizational initiatives and new programs. Change Management efforts and internal communications should provide timely information in the most efficient and effective method explaining the why around decisions and highlight the impact.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and communicate positive employee engagement strategies and retention initiatives that foster and promote the Exceptional Career
    • Design employee engagement strategies and initiatives that align to and support strategic priorities and firmwide efforts
    • Develop and execute change management strategies, including corporate communications efforts, to support corporate initiatives and implementation of new programs and efforts.
    • Act as a change agent, an influencer, and creator of captivating content that fosters two-way conversations with internal audiences.
    • Maintain relationship with internal stakeholders across each area of the business to establish integration and alignment
    • Establish and maintain performance measures to guide continuous improvement and further increase employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
    • Own employee communication editorial calendar and ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels.
    • Partner with marketing manager to train stakeholders in brand messaging and voice.
    • Identify and manage tools to successfully engage and collect ideas from teams and establish metrics to measure engagement and report outcomes to stakeholders.
    • Grasp company and industry concepts and make complex messages clear and understandable.
    • Research and work with vendors to support employee engagement efforts and tools.
    • Role model Excella’s core values, producing content that is employee-first and inspires employees to apply them to their daily work.
    • Work with a variety of communications channels, such as town halls, videos, executive communications, presentations, social media, blogs, and emails.
    • Plan and oversee quarterly and adhoc town hall meetings
    • Anticipate and address the needs of all teams and consistently work to create an environment of open communication, responding to feedback and adjust change management approach accordingly
    • Responsible for ensuring content consistency of messages and alignment to overall company and People Strategy.
    • Assess organizational climate through surveys and related efforts and analyze results to identify workplace improvement needs.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of employee relations programs through the use of metrics.
    • Stay informed and aware of organizational operations and initiatives and identify areas where additional communication may be needed and develop a plan to meet those needs.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a change management, internal communications and/or employee engagement role
    • A. in Communications, English or related field
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and impeccable attention to detail
    • Ability to role model and inspire collaboration and engagement
    • Innovation and creativity in messages and modes of delivery
    • Ability to work autonomously and to deal with ambiguity is critical
    • Strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple efforts and tasks and operate in a fast-paced challenging environment
    • Solid facilitation and presentation skills
    • Must be a team player with demonstrated team experience
    • Exceptional customer service focus
    • Ability to maintain/manage confidential information
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to professionally interact with managers, staff and officers at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and professionalism
